Day In The Life: Old Wethersfield

Last Thursday Auden, Joona and I did some exploring in a town near us called Old Wethersfield. The weather was absolutely beautiful, we were all in good spirits, and Joona even took a lengthy nap in the Ergo carrier! Auden got to have ice cream for lunch (with “sparkles” as she calls them) and had so much fun picking flowers, doing somersaultsand playing in the dirt. Seeing her so happy was just what my mama heart needed!

In our exploration, we visited Comstock Ferre & Co. Heirloom Market which is the cutest little heirloom seed shop. They sell thousands of fruit, vegetable, and floral seed varieties, basic gardening supplies, as well as local edible goodies. Next time we visit, I’ll definitely have to check out their “seed to plate” cafe to try some of their delicious treats!
